Program Itinerary: 3 Days Camel Trekking in Merzouga

Day 1: Merzouga - hiking - desert camp

Leave in the afternoon from Merzouga Village. After hiking 2 hours in the sand, crossing the dunes, enjoy a wonderful sunset behind the dunes. Following that, indulge in a relaxing dinner, and the ambiance of fire and music at the campfire was amazing. Additionally, savor mint tea in camp. Overnight in Zahra Desert Camp.

Day 2: Desert Camp - Visit Oasis in the middle - families of nomads

Witness the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga then back to camp for breakfast. Afterward, go on a camel for 3 hours to visit a Merzouga Oasis in the middle of the dunes. You will have lunch at Oasis and relax. In the afternoon we return to camp passing through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to visit the families of nomads who live in the desert. Relaxing dinner at camp.
Day 3: Desert Camp - Back to Merzouga Village

On the last day during our 3 days camel trekking in Merzouga in the early morning, you will be able to admire the sunrise and have breakfast and shower if you want. We will ride the camels or 4WD (depending on your choice) back to Merzouga village. End of our services.

We didn’t organize a lot. So we asked the camp if they can suggest us something. Younnes was our guy about making a plan to Morocco and he arranged everything. Good food good people and a lot of fun especially at nights in the camp playing some music. Special mention our friend/guide/driver Ismail he made our trip unique !

Amazing experience

Staying at Zahra camp is a lifetime experience. Everything was perfect, starting from the booking system, additional requests (they have organised a bday cake for my partner ), amazing dinner, magical camel ride to watch the sunset , very comfortable tent and such a great host ! Zahra camp is a place to be!

The camp was amazing we arrived there in a one hour dromedary trip. Very good dinner and breakfast and we saw a beautiful sunset. The tents were big with light and bathroom inside. Very incredible experience!
